OUR MISSION
Orchid Peaks Montessori's approach to education is centered around a comprehensive and holistic program that combines STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Art education. This unique blend provides children between the ages of 3 to 6 with a well-rounded learning experience that promotes intellectual, emotional, and creative development.
One of the key features of Orchid Peaks Montessori is its mixed-age group classroom setup. This approach allows children of different ages to interact and learn together, mimicking the natural social dynamics of real-world settings. Older children can become mentors to their younger peers, fostering a sense of responsibility and leadership, while younger children have the opportunity to learn from their older counterparts. This setup also promotes a sense of community and collaboration, as children learn to work alongside each other and respect individual differences.

OUR VISION
Orchid peaks Montessori aims to provide a vibrant learning experience and help strengthen each child’s intellectual foundation.
OUR CURRICULUM
PRACTICAL LIFE
The activities of practical life revolve around
four areas: Caring for the Self, Caring for the
Environment, Grace and Courtesy, and Movement
of Objects. The associated exercises also teach
the child sequencing develops concentration
and aid in language development.
SENSORIAL
Sensorial materials enable each child to perceive the senses such as size, shape, composition, texture, loudness or softness, matching, weight, temperature, etc.
MATHEMATICS
Montessori curriculum is based on giving children exposure to concrete materials first, then giving incremental opportunities to work on more abstract mathematical concepts. These concepts inherently promote critical thinking and develop a child’s mathematical mind.
LANGUAGE
Language is the means to communicate ideas through the combined use of conventional sounds and signs. The development of a child’s vocabulary sets the stage for pre-reading and reading skills.
SCIENCE
Science is all around us. Young children interact with the natural world everywhere they go. Being inquisitive about everything they see around (How, When, What) such as how flowers smell like, and how a leaf feels.
GEOGRAPHY
Geography is important both as a necessary conceptual framework and spatial orientation and as a bridge to the development of the child’s understanding and appreciation of the story of humankind and nature.
CULTURAL/ART
Art is one of many ways children express themselves and communicate their feelings. We provide open-ended art activities that help children explore and use their creativity.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
We also offer field trips along with Spanish and music classes!
